A new luxury wellness destination is taking shape amid the spectacular limestone landscapes and turquoise waters of Palawan, with Filipino hospitality group The Lind Hotels preparing to open The Lind Coron in 2027. The 91-room-and-villa resort will combine upscale accommodation, holistic spa experiences, diving, nature, and destination dining, potentially adding fresh momentum to the Philippines’ expanding luxury wellness tourism sector.

The development will become the second resort from The Lind Hotels, following The Lind Boracay, which opened on Boracay Island in 2015. Coron was actually part of the group’s plans before its Boracay debut, but development was postponed while the company concentrated on the more established Boracay market. A New Wellness Experience for Coron
Central to the new resort will be a holistic spa operated by The Spa Wellness, the same Filipino wellness brand responsible for the spa at The Lind Boracay. The company has a long presence in the country’s spa sector and was the first Philippine spa brand to receive Superbrand recognition.
Rather than simply duplicating the Boracay spa, The Spa Wellness is developing a treatment menu specifically for Coron. Its established therapies are expected to remain available, but treatments will also incorporate ingredients and techniques connected with the destination.
This localized approach could give guests a stronger sense of place while responding to a broader shift in Asian wellness tourism toward experiences that integrate local culture, natural resources, and traditional practices with contemporary luxury.
Palawan Nature Meets Luxury
The Lind Coron will feature 91 rooms and villas surrounded by the dramatic natural environment that has made Coron one of Palawan’s most recognizable destinations. Private villas will include individual dipping pools, while Villa Hosts will provide personalized guest services.
Wellness will extend beyond the treatment room. Guests will have opportunities to explore Coron’s marine environment through an on-site dive center offering access to colorful reefs and historic World War II shipwrecks.

Thai and Mediterranean Dining
Food will form another important component of the experience. The resort will feature Yím, The Lind Hotels’ signature modern Thai restaurant, alongside Crust, a Mediterranean-inspired dining venue located near the infinity pool.
The property will also provide indoor and outdoor spaces for meetings, celebrations, and other gatherings, including The Gallery, designed to accommodate up to 200 guests, as well as a rooftop venue with panoramic surroundings.

The Lind Hotels has emphasized that its objective is to create a resort that complements Coron rather than competes with its extraordinary natural setting.
